Sharjah24: Richard Wilding, a well-known curator, photographer, and filmmaker from London, presented his exhibition, "Heart of Arabia," at the International Photography Festival "Xposure," showcasing photographs of Saudi Arabia's cultural heritage.
Richard's expertise lies in creating exhibitions, films, and publications that explore cultural identity, history, and heritage. He has travelled extensively throughout Saudi Arabia over the past 13 years, researching and documenting the Kingdom's traditional costumes, crafts, archaeology, and architecture.

Richard collaborated with the Mansoojat Foundation to produce and edit the book 'Traditional Costumes of Saudi Arabia,' which features his photography of the Kingdom's traditional clothing, crafts, heritage, and archaeological sites, some of which are displayed at his exhibition.

As part of the festival, Richard conducted a workshop on heritage photography. The workshop was focused on traditional architecture and intangible cultural heritage, covering crafts and aspects of daily life. The workshop combined theoretical aspects of photography with practical field exercises, providing participants with an opportunity to take photos of tradition al architecture.
