Sharjah24: Sharjah's team has reached the quarterfinals of the President's Cup in football after a 2-1 victory over Al-Batayeh in the Round of 16 match, which took place at Sharjah Stadium on Saturday.
The defending champions of the previous edition of the President's Cup in football, Sharjah, has reached the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Sharjah secured their spot in the next round after defeating Al Batayeh 2-1 at Sharjah Stadium on Saturday.
Hussain Saleh (47') and Moussa Mariga (65') scored the two goals for Sharjah, while Ismail Al-Zaabi (84') scored for Al-Batayeh.
