Sharjah24: Sharjah Football Club has recently announced the completion of its deal with talented South Korean midfielder Cho Yu-min. The club has secured his services with a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2026. Yu-min has been signed from Daejeon Hana Citizen Football Club to take the place of Greek defender Konstantinos Manolas, who had his contract terminated by the club after a season and a half with the team.
Last Tuesday, the player arrived in Sharjah and underwent a medical examination under the supervision of the club's medical staff. The signing formalities were completed on Wednesday morning.
Yu-min, born on November 17, 1996, is widely recognised as one of the most skilled defenders in the Korean league. He excels at playing both as a right-back and defensive midfielder. Since turning professional in 2018, Yu-min has participated in 166 matches in the Korean league, scoring 17 goals.
In the global arena, the South Korean player has accumulated 16 caps for his national team, showcasing his talent in the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. In addition, he has made appearances in numerous matches for the South Korean Olympic team.
