Sharjah24: Shamma Al Jattaal Al Ketbi, Director of the Marketing and Communications Department at the Sharjah Museums Authority, stated that the Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) will participate in a number of events, activities and innovations, in the “Emirates Innovates” activities, which will last from February 15 to 21.
Shamma Al Ketbi stated in an exclusive statements to Sharjah 24 that one of the prominent initiatives is a high-quality augmented reality project, which was developed in collaboration with Dr. Krzysztof Petrozek, the founding director of Institute for Ideas at the American University in Washington, and Dr. Suhail Dahdal from the American University in Sharjah. This project was designed by students from the American University of Sharjah.

Al Ketbi added that Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization presents the "Innovation in Science" initiative, which highlights scientific advancements in Islamic civilization. Meanwhile, Sharjah Archaeology Museum showcases the "Innovation in Living" initiative, which reveals how innovation has contributed to the development of daily life throughout the ages.

On another note, the initiative "Reviving Historical Stories from the Emirate of Sharjah" provides a rich experience for visitors at Bait Al Naboodah and Sharjah Fort, where historical stories of the emirate are brought to life through interactive and innovative methods. This reflects the commitment of Sharjah Museums Authority to integrating technology and innovation in presenting cultural and historical heritage, providing a rich educational and interactive experience for the public.
