Sharjah 24: Professor Jamal Al Tarifi, Head of Al Qasimia University (AQU), received, on Monday, Andjela Jaksic, Minister of Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Montenegro, and her accompanying delegation, at the university’s headquarters in Sharjah.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Chancellor of AQU, and Dr. Zakaria Nouh, Director of the Office of International Relations and Student Recruitment.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation with Al Qasimia University in a number of scientific and research fields, teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers and attracting students.

Professor Jamal Al Tarifi welcomed Andjela Jaksic and the accompanying delegation, stressing that Al Qasimia University is keen to develop cooperation with academic and research institutions in the Republic of Montenegro.

The Head of Al Qasimia University presented an overview of AQU, its academic achievements, and its role in raising the  moderation concept, as a translation of the visions of its founder, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to be a beacon of excellence in higher education and scientific research with the Holy Qur’an and the Arabic language as its mainstay, as the university attracts students from 123 nationalities from different countries of the world.
