Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), will be a guest on Astshary El Sharjah programme broadcast by Sharjah TV, which launches its third season on Monday, February 5.
The programme, which is broadcast every Monday at 9:15 pm, tackles all matters related to SCC affairs and activities, including plenary sessions, different committees, and field visits made by members to government departments and bodies.
The programme also conveys Sharjah Parliament recommendations and studies on vital issues for the citizen and resident of the Smiling Emirate.
“Astshary El Sharjah” programme, supervised by Ms. Sanaa Butti Hadid, Director of the News Centre, prepared by Khaled Ahmed Al Zarouni, presented by Abdul Salam Al Hammadi and directed by Raed Obaid, seeks to highlight the major role played by SCC, whereas it has legislative and advisory powers that contribute to developing Sharjah policies and legal system, which makes it the first television programme in the UAE concerned with parliamentary affairs.
Ms. Sanaa Butti stated that “Astshary El Sharjah” is a continuation of the efforts exerted by Sharjah Broadcast Authority (SBA), to strengthening communication between the society and its institutions, by conveying SCC news and highlighting issues and challenges that “Sharjah Parliament” is dealing with.
The Director of the News Centre at Sharjah TV added that the programme team is making great efforts, and that it is a pride that the launch of the third season will be hosted by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of SCC.
Ms. Sanaa Butti also thanked SCC administrative departments that facilitated the filming and preparation for the television programme that conveys the voice of the Parliament and enhances its legislative and legal role.
Khaled Ahmed Al Zarouni said that “Astshary El Sharjah” reflects the commitment to providing high-quality television content and enhances communication between society and its main bodies, indicating that preparing for this programme requires an accurate understanding of all the issues that are presented for discussion in the Council, and also requires an understanding of its work mechanisms.
Khaled Ahmed Al Zarouni added that he believes that Sharjah TV succeeded, in the previous seasons of the programme, in conveying all the Council’s activities, and the new season will continue to carry out our mission based on raising awareness of the role of different institutions and contributing to informing the public about the vital and social issues that concern citizens and residents.
