Sharjah24: Participating in the 55th Cairo International Book Fair, which commenced on January 22 and runs through February 6, 2024, is the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH). The president of the institute, Dr Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, is leading the delegation.
As part of its involvement, the Institute is holding a number of educational and cultural gatherings with various Egyptian organisations in order to foster relationships and collaborations in the domains of academia, culture, and the book and publishing industries. The Institute's involvement also includes book signings, book launches, and cultural initiatives.

This engagement is in line with the Institute's mission of leveraging books and publishing to close gaps in cultural communication and introduce readers to the rich and diverse history of the United Arab Emirates.

The participation highlights the Institute's groundbreaking work in book development and publishing, which has led to the release of more than 700 publications in various sectors related to cultural heritage throughout the years.
The participation aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and his endeavour to build knowledge bridges through books, according to Dr Abdulaziz Al-Muslim, president of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage.

The visiting delegation commended the efforts taken to boost community standards of living, safety, and security and thanked Sharjah Police for their kind welcome."
