Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club celebrated along with the educational institutions, International Day of Education, which falls on January 24 of each year, by visiting, today, Wednesday, the Al Hamriyah School for the second cycle and secondary education for boys, and Al Hamriyah School For Basic and Secondary Education For Girls.
The club’s executive director, Ahmed Al Shamsi led the visiting delegation schools. Al Shamsi honoured Jassim Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah School for the Second Cycle and Secondary Education for Boys, and Dr. Maitha Majid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah School For Basic and Secondary Education For Girls.
Ahmed Al Shamsi stressed that the club’s initiative stems from his belief in the importance of education in building a conscious and cultured society that contributes to achieving development, progress and prosperity for the nation in general. He pointed out that the Al Hamriyah Club initiative is a duty imposed by the club’s position and its strategic vision, which aims to engage effectively in everything that concerns the region’s community, sportingly, culturally and educationally.
Jassim Al Shamsi and Maitha Al Shamsi thanked Al Hamriyah Club for participating in the educational institutions’ celebration of the International Day of Education, as they agreed on the great role it continues to play in supporting the educational system, whether through visits like this or opening its doors to host school events and activities.
