Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Falconers Club has achieved a notable accomplishment by securing the top spot in the Specialised Clubs category of the Sharjah Council Award for Sports Sustainability.
Mohammed Khalifa Al Badwawi, Chairman of the Sharjah Falconers Club, received the award during a ceremony attended by leaders from the Sharjah Sports Council.
Al Badwawi expressed his pride and satisfaction in this achievement, applauding the collaborative efforts of the club's team and the sustainability committee for their dedication and hard work in the recent past. He also acknowledged the supportive role of the Sharjah Sports Council in endorsing specialised clubs and encouraging the adoption of sustainability principles in their activities.
In a statement, Al Badwawi remarked, "This accomplishment reflects our commitment to sustainability values and our focus on advancing sports in the Emirate of Sharjah, particularly by integrating sustainability with falconry. We are dedicated to persistently and earnestly working towards achieving more milestones in the future."
