Sharjah 24: A seminar entitled "Coordination of Work and Building Partnerships in Service of the Arabic Language" was organised in Mauritania by the Arabic Language Council (ALC) in order to provide support to the Arabic language and its legacy.
There were a number of perspectives, projects, and programmes that were discussed at the seminar. Among the issues that were discussed were Mauritania and Arabic language support and development efforts, including the Arab globe.
In order to achieve the target of advancing Arabic language and culture through more communication, collaboration, and understanding, the event's mission was to bring together groups that would achieve the aforementioned objective.
His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and Mauritania President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani inaugurated the new headquarters of the Arabic Language Council in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritanian.
