The meeting was chaired by Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Al Bustan Council, and the visiting delegation included council members Mahir Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Rashid Obaid Al Nadas, and Saeed Obaid Balaith Al Tunaiji.
The Council delegation received Saeed Rashid bin Fadel, Director of Al Wousta TV, in the presence of a number of the channel’s employees, expressing the importance of the visit in opening horizons for joint work to serve the community and send media messages aimed at achieving family cohesion and developing social ties with purposeful content that consolidates values and preserves heritage.
During the meeting, thanks and appreciation were expressed by the Al Bustan Council for the contributions of Al Wousta TV in collecting and consolidating local heritage, with an emphasis on the distinctive role that the channel plays in enhancing communication with the community and stimulating interaction between government institutions.
Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji praised the prominent role played by Al Wousta TV in consolidating heritage and conveying the cultural message to its audience. Dr. Al-Taniji stressed the importance of joint cooperation between the council and Al Wousta TV to enhance understanding and awareness among members of society.
Dr. Al Tunaiji stated that Al Wousta TV is a vital partner in the council’s efforts to preserve heritage and pass it on to younger generations, whereas the channel, through its programmes, contributes to strengthening cultural identity and enhancing communication between members of society.
The Chairman of Al Bustan Council added that the cooperation is a positive step towards achieving cultural communication and enhancing heritage values among members of society.
Dr. Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji thanked Al Wousta TV for its pivotal role, calling for strengthening sustainable cooperation to achieve the maximum benefit for society and raising awareness of cultural heritage among young people and future generations.
The meeting reviewed Al Wousta TV programmes, which focus specifically on culture and heritage, with an emphasis on family programmes, in line with the pioneering directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
At the end of the meeting, Saeed Rashid bin Fadel, Director of Al Wousta TV in Al Dhaid, thanked the Chairman and members of the Al Bustan Council, stressing the channel’s readiness to support all government institutions in the region, and called for strengthening cooperation between both parties to serve the people of the region.
