Sharjah 24: Emirati poet Ali Al Shaali expressed his happiness at being honoured by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as part of the opening ceremony of the 20th edition of the Sharjah Arabic Poetry Festival.
He pointed out that the Sharjah Arabic Poetry Festival is one of the basic pillars that complement the Emirate of Sharjah in supporting and enriching arts, culture and literature, and encouraging poets to continue their creative production.
He indicated, in statements to “Sharjah 24,” that he is happy to be one of the Emirati and Arab poets who participate in reviving the evenings of the festival in the Emirate of Sharjah and its suburbs, in addition to attending the play “Al Hira Majlis” written by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and directed by Mohammed Al Amiri.
