Sheikha Dr. Najla Ali Al Mualla, Director of the Central Laboratories Department, said that the lab's capabilities are being enhanced all the time thanks to the introduction of cutting-edge equipment.
The environmental and consumable materials laboratory, veterinary laboratory, and construction materials laboratory have added a heat and moisture insulation product inspection device, devices for testing soft concrete, devices for inspecting plaster, a direct shear testing device for soil, devices for examining the compressive strength and elasticity modulus of rocks, and other new devices.
