Sharjah24: "Safe Construction Environment" was a security awareness campaign that the Sharjah Police (SP) in conjunction with the Sharjah City Municipality and the Sharjah Department of Economic Development, worked on with the help of the Comprehensive Police Stations Management and the Media and Public Relations Department.

The campaign came to a close. During its one-month run, the campaign sought to educate the public about the causes of theft on construction sites and bring more attention to the issue.
 
According to Sharjah Police, 7,600 people in the construction and contracting industry benefited from the campaign's success in raising security awareness.

Protecting assets and property should be an established practice among owners of companies and construction enterprises, according to the General Command of Sharjah Police. 

Sharjah police demanded that security officials collaborate and implement measures to reduce criminal activities that attract thieves to construction sites.
