Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Institute for Heritage welcomed a high-level cultural delegation from Zhejiang University of Technology in China as part of the cultural exchange programmes between the UAE and the People's Republic of China. The delegation paid a visit to the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) to learn about the functioning of the institute's Chinese Cultural Centre, which was created in 2018.
The Chairman of the university's Party Committee led a six-member visiting delegation, which the Director of Institutional Communication at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage welcomed along with other institute representatives.

The hosts conveyed greetings from Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muslim, the President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, emphasising the significance of partnership and collaboration between the two parties. This partnership seeks to accomplish corresponding objectives and enhance efforts to promote cultural exchange between Arab and Chinese peoples.

Ahmed Salem Al Bairaq, Director of the Institute's Institutional Communication Department, thanked the visiting delegation for the excellent outcomes and achievements in the sphere of cultural exchange in recent years. He emphasised successful collaboration efforts between the institution and Zhejiang University of Technology.

The creation of the "Arab Culture Hall" at Zhejiang University of Technology in China in 2018 is one such endeavour. This hall holds a variety of literature, artefacts, and multimedia resources for students who do not speak Arabic.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is the institute's leader, and this project is in line with the institute's mission to advance Arab culture globally.
