Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah laid the foundation stone for several developmental projects in Dibba Al-Hisn.
His Highness looked at the plans of the projects on Hisn Island, getting acquainted with the various architectural styles as well as vital amenities and services that would benefit Dibba Al-Hisn residents and visitors.
The Hisn Island Residential Complex is a translation of His Highness' guidelines and vision, intending to promote family stability by providing sufficient accommodation for people, encouraging a decent living, and enhancing Emirati family solidarity.
The complex's first phase consists of eight innovative solution buildings that demonstrate a new way of delivering housing services and utilising available space. It includes first-rate amenities and high-quality services that promote family stability and privacy in neighbourhoods.
The first phase of the complex will include 124 dwelling units with varying designs ranging from one to five bedrooms, catering to various socioeconomic groups in housing services. Commercial outlets, nurseries, sports halls, multipurpose halls, parking spaces, and other vital services and amenities will be included.

The project will include architectural diversity in the urban facade of the residential neighbourhood, including architectural styles that provide aesthetic appeal in keeping with the Emirate of Sharjah's urban growth of cities and residential areas.
The Dibba Al-Hisn Hospital project spans 17,000 square metres in total, with a built-up area of 13,500 square metres. It will have three levels plus a basement and will include 12 outpatient clinics in various disciplines as well as other medical services. The hospital will have an emergency helicopter landing pad as well as a parking lot.

The exterior of Sharjah University Hospital will have a distinct design influence on the project. The use of materials that are resistant to the effects of weather and other natural factors will highlight the building's sustainability.
When completed, Dibba Al-Hisn Hospital will provide comprehensive healthcare for citizens, improving the efficiency of the city's healthcare services. It seeks to provide the essential medical specialisations to serve all age groups, from children and youth to the elderly, minimising the need for patients to travel for treatment and offering opportunities for employment for graduates in a variety of sectors.

The Dibba Al-Hisn Commercial Centre project is an important component in supporting the city's economic activity. It will offer a range of commercial outlets to suit the demands of residents and tourists, in line with the planned expansion of contemporary development projects in a number of industries.
The Dibba Al-Hisn Commercial Centre project will encompass 10,000 square metres in total, with the first phase comprising 3,500 square metres. It will include 15 commercial outlets, including a 2,000-square-meter Sharjah Cooperative Society, as well as restaurants and cafés overlooking the water canal, amusement stores, and parking spaces.
