Sharjah24: Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2023)’s creative workshops corner has inspired creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork among young visitors to the book fair, with a unique event titled ‘Building Bridges’.

The dynamic session provided children with the opportunity to conceptualise and construct miniature bridges using basic materials like paper sticks, tape, and glue. Emphasising fundamental engineering principles, architectural designs, and the significance of collaboration, the workshop aimed to stimulate a curiosity for the world of structural engineering and design.

Guiding the children with expertise and passion, the workshop’s conductor Taras simplified intricate engineering concepts, allowing them to comprehend the intricacies of structural design effortlessly. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, the workshop encouraged critical thinking and curiosity, fostering a deep sense of engagement and excitement.
