Sharjah24: The Deputy Chairman of the Electoral District in Al Madam area, Engineer Khalifa Al Ketbi, confirmed the start of the registration of candidates for the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) 2023 elections. This announcement was made at the electoral centre of the municipality of the madam district, where candidates had begun to register from the early morning hours onward.
In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah24”, Al Ketbi added, “ Since early hours of the morning, we have seen a significant number of people arrive, and the process of registering new voters has been going off without a hitch.” He called on all those who are willing to stand as candidates to go to Al Madam's electoral centre and fill out all of the necessary paperwork.
Concluding his statement, Engineer Khalifa Al Ketbi mentioned that Al Madam Election Commission is well-prepared to receive and review all the necessary documents. The commission will be available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the next two days. He pointed out, “We extend our best wishes to all the candidates participating in the electoral process in the emirate of Sharjah.”
