Sharjah24: Dhabya Al Ameri, a member of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) Election Management Committee stressed that the Council organised a workshop for registering candidates for the SCC’s elections 2023, with the presence of the High Committee and heads of departments. The workshop, being held at the council's headquarters, aims to clarify campaign regulations, candidacy requirements, and appeal procedures.
In her exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24," Al Ameri explained that the workshop addressed regulations pertaining to campaigns, candidacy requirements, and appeal procedures that can be taken in case of disputes or objections. She added that this workshop goal of this workshop is to guarantee the election process's integrity and competitiveness through providing a transparent and unambiguous framework.
Al Ameri said that the 3-day period from October 31 to November 11 will see the continuation of the candidate registration process. Candidates will be registered in person at the constituency during the morning hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There are nine electoral districts in the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.
