Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Culture will take part in the Cairo International Forum for University Theatre (CIFUT), which will be held from October 21 to 27 under the patronage of Egyptian Prime Minister Dr Mustafa Madbouly.
The Department will present Muhammed Abdullah's play "The Last Option," which is based on the novel "A Feast for Crows" by American author George R. R. Martin.

In the previous edition of the Khor Fakkan Short Plays Festival, hosted by the Sharjah Department of Culture, the play received three honours, including Best Direction, Best Scenography, and Best Acting.
The delegation is led by Ahmed Aburehaima, the Theatre Department's Director, who will be awarded by the forum for his significant and influential contribution in developing the Arab theatre movement.

The programming of the forum, which is overseen by the Egyptian Artists for Culture and Arts Foundation and supported by the Ministries of Culture, Youth, and Sports, comprises 11 theatrical performances from universities in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Ghana, Kuwait, Oman, Tunisia, and Morocco.

The forum will also feature playwriting, acting, and dance workshops offered by teachers from Egypt, Morocco, Spain, Austria, and Belgium.
