He said in a press statement that concerted international efforts need to be exerted in order to stem collective punishment carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against the population of the Palestinian territory in breach of international law.
The GCC chief reiterated his call on the international community to intervene to stop the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip, find a political solution for the crisis and ensure the Palestinian people's legitimate rights, mainly an intendent state on the 1967 border with Eastern Jerusalem being its capital.
