Sharjah24: Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, represented by the Organisational Committee for Border Ports and Points at at Khatmat Milaha border in Kalba, celebrated the visit of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to the Sultanate of Oman, during which he met His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, within the framework of historical fraternal relations and to enhance the existing joint cooperation between the two countries.

The celebration included distributing souvenirs to arrivals and decorating the port with the flags of the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman, accompanied by displays of the pictures of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and His Majesty the Sultan of Oman, under the slogan “Rooted Brotherhood and Extended Relations.” The display included national slogans that express the deep-rooted bonds of brotherhood and friendship between the people and leadership of the two brotherly countries, in addition to the “Sultan of History” Encyclopedia, published by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah dedicated to the Sultanate of Oman, which is “The History of Al Ya’ariba in Oman, the History of the Imams of Al Busaid in Oman, and the History of the Nabhani Kings in Oman.”

Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, confirmed that the visit of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to the Sultanate of Oman, represents a true embodiment of the depth of the historical and fraternal relations between the two countries, which are gaining more momentum and strength in light of the keenness of the wise leaderships of the two countries to continually raise the bonds of cooperation to the best levels, with the aim of achieving development and prosperity for both brotherly peoples and strengthening sustainable and fruitful partnerships that enhance the development process in both countries.
