Sharjah24: Al Hamriya Cultural and Sports Club held a theoretical fire safety workshop for its staff today. Abdulaziz Abdullah Jaber, a first assistant lecturer from the Sharjah Civil Defence, Media, and Public Relations Department, conducted the course.
The Executive Director of Al Hamriya Club, Ahmed Rashid Al Shamsi, expressed his appreciation to Sharjah Civil Defence for their assistance in organising this valuable training. As part of the club's sustainability committee's objective, he stated that the training sought to improve the professional safety understanding of the club's staff.
The Executive Director emphasised that the committee's operations and endeavours to meet the Sharjah Sports Sustainability Award targets, including workplace health and safety measures, are ongoing.
The staff of Al Hamriya Club actively participated in the training and generally felt that it was quite beneficial, particularly in terms of risk assessment.
