Sharjah24: The International Academy of Moroccan Storytelling (IAMS) awarded Sharjah Heritage Institute the "Excellence in Heritage Preservation" Award. This accolade occurred during the closing ceremony of the 23rd Sharjah International Narrator Forum (SINF), held at Expo Sharjah from September 18–20.
Dr Abdulaziz Al-Muslim, Institute Chairman, received the Excellence Shield from Academy President Professor Najima Thay Thay.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muslim was proud of the Institute's latest addition to its excellent record of credentials, accolades, and accomplishments.
This honour highlights the Institute's and its team's dedication to implementing Sharjah's cultural mission, reflecting His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a Supreme Council member and Sharjah's Ruler. This vision advocates heritage conservation and awareness among various communities to elevate its importance in protecting values and identity.
Dr Al-Muslim also praised the Academy's efforts to preserve Morocco's authentic historical heritage by enhancing communication and cooperation with relevant institutions, institutes, and entities to enrich intellectual, academic, cultural, and artistic heritage preservation efforts.
