Sharjah24: At the Sharjah International Narrator Forum (SINF) 2023, Dr Abdulaziz Al-Muslim, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and Head of the Organising Committee, received Mohammed Ahmed Al-Kit, Advisor at the Ruler's Diwan in Ras Al Khaimah, and Ahmed Obaid Al-Taniji, Director General of the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah, on the second day of the three-day forum.
Several cultural workshops were held on the second day of the 23rd Sharjah International Narrator Forum, with the theme "Tales of Plants," focusing on the relevance of plants and trees in Arab heritage and literature.

The significance of plants in Arabic oral storytelling, the necessity for a uniform Arab cultural database recording plant, and the role of plants in Arab folklore and imagination were all discussed throughout the sessions.

Participants highlighted the significance of deeply rooted plants in literature and history, highlighting the symbolic value of these plants and their long history.

Several publications that contribute to the enrichment of Arab heritage were released on this day, and there were also storytelling sessions for youngsters and an emphasis on the preservation of natural greenery.

The ghaf tree, a symbol of the UAE's history and culture, was the inspiration for the creative works presented by Ghaf Publications. The event as a whole was an appreciation-building lesson for the vital role plants play in Arab storytelling and heritage.
