Sharjah 24: The Deputy Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at Sharjah Police, Colonel Dr. Mohammed Butti Al Hajri, announced the launch of a virtual platform that enables the public to visit “Be Aware” stations in an innovative and remote way to learn about the ways and means of electronic fraud and how to prevent it.
He said that the Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Department of Criminal Investigation, and the Department of Media and Public Relations, launched the “Be Aware” platform at City Centre Al Zahia.
He added, “Through this platform, we aim to educate members of the public about the dangers of electronic fraud by several stations to learn about fraud methods and ways to prevent them.”
He pointed out that a virtual platform has been launched that enables the public to visit the stations in an innovative and remote way to learn about the ways and means of fraud and how to prevent them.
