Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) has achieved a pioneering achievement by obtaining the certificate of ISO 31000 in risk management, from Lloyd’s Register, after passing all the requirements.
This comes in line with the SSSD’s keenness to achieve the best international standards and specifications in management.
The Risk Division of the Institutional Performance Department has developed an internal system that identifies the risks that may occur in the department, ensures preparedness and readiness to confront risks, and develops a mechanism to address them based on the ISO specifications.
On this occasion, Fatima Dawoud, Director of the Institutional Performance Department at SSSD, said that obtaining the ISO certificate in risk management is a new achievement added to the record of the SSSD.
She added that this would not have been possible without the SSSD’s commitment and tireless pursuit in the field of social service.
It is worth noting that the SSSD had obtained the international specifications certificate last year from Lloyd's Register in exchange for its commitment to implementing all international requirements and standards concerned with providing the highest levels of information security.
