Emirates Club signs with Spanish coach Lluís Planagumà

Sharjah 24: The Emirates Club has contracted with the Spanish coach Lluís Planagumà to succeed the national coach, Mohammed Al Jalbout, to lead the club’s first football team during the upcoming period of the ADNOC Pro League.
The Emirates Club announced its contract with Spanish coach Lluís Planagumà, born in Barcelona in 1980, to succeed the national coach, Mohammed Al Jalbout.

The signing of the contract was attended by His Excellency Yousef Abdullah Al Batran, Chairman of the Emirates Club Board of Directors; Abdullah Al Ajel, General Supervisor of the First Team, and Hadif Saif, Director of the First Football Team.

His Excellency Yousef Al Batran extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to coach Mohammed Al Jalbout for coaching the team during the last period, which culminated in their promotion to the ADNOC Pro League, wishing the coach success in his upcoming sports career.

Al Batran praised the new coach experience, as he coached Spanish teams such as Espanyol, Granada and Villarreal, as well as a number of Japanese clubs such as Vissel Kobe and Imabari, wishing that he will achieve the team’s goals during the current season.

The Spanish coach expressed his thanks and appreciation to the club’s management and the trust they placed in him. He also expressed his hope that the aspirations of the club’s management and fans would be achieved.
