According to the AFC's official standings, the UAE accumulated 34.655 points to secure 12th place continent-wide – a result that places it firmly ahead of all other Gulf and Arab football associations featured in the rankings.

The AFC's methodology weighted club performances in continental competitions at 70 per cent, with the remaining 30 per cent drawn from FIFA's international women's national team rankings. It is this dual criterion that has helped propel the UAE to such a prominent position on the Asian stage.

The result is a giant milestone for the growth of women’s football in the Emirates and is reflective of the increasing investment and ambition behind the domestic game at both club and international levels.
