Sharjah 24: His Excellency Issa Saif bin Handal, Chairman of the Sharjah Committee of the 2023 Federal National Council (FNC) elections, stated that the Emirate of Sharjah Committee began, on Tuesday, the process of receiving candidates, and it will continue until August 18.
His Excellency Issa Saif bin Handal stated that the committee headquarters in Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) saw a turnout of candidates to submit their candidacy papers, in addition to a number of candidates who submitted their application on the National Elections Committee’s digital platform provided by the National Committee to facilitate the registration process.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24,” Bin Handal indicate that "the role of the committee comes to assist the applicants in registering if they are unable to finish the process on the platform, then the administrative team provides the necessary support, and requests are submitted to the National Elections Committee for approval”. He explained that submission saw a turnout of females in Sharjah. Bin Handal concluded that the committee will work until August 18, while the platform operates 24/7.
