Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) organised a workshop on keys for professional success, with the participation of a group of participants of the "Mihnati" vocational training programme for university and college students.
This comes as part of the bank's keenness to enhance students' knowledge awareness to enable them to gain practical experience in the financial and banking field.
The training workshop held in the main building of the bank, included an overview of Islamic banking, the history of banks, their functions and types, the concept of Islamic banks, the vision, mission and values of Sharjah Islamic Bank. In addition to providing the participants with the skills of setting future goals, the best communication methods and skills, as well as the most important tips for passing interviews, along with new ways to apply for jobs, providing them with the best learning resources for training courses and specialised certificates.
On this occasion, Fadheela Al Marzouqi, Head of Human Resources at Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB), stated that enhancing the students’ expertise and knowledge in various fields comes in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
For their part, the students praised the role of SIB in implementing the "Mihnati" programme, and the effort made to improve their knowledge, raise the level of their expertise and competencies, and contribute to enhancing their future career choices, and moving towards them with confidence and reassurance.
