Sharjah 24: During their visit to the Sharjah Art Museum and the Fine Arts Library, students from Al Qasimia University got to explore various artistic creations, exhibits, and collections. The visit was part of the university's summer camp activities, organised by the Student Affairs Deanship under the theme "Our Summer is Happiness."
The students had the opportunity to engage with the showcased artworks, appreciate their aesthetics, and understand the underlying philosophy of using specific colours in the displayed pieces.

As they moved through the museum's three floors, housing more than 500 artistic creations, exhibits, and collections representing various expressive styles, the students immersed themselves in the world of imagination and artistic taste.

Additionally, they visited the Fine Arts Library, which holds over 4,000 publications in Arabic, English, and other languages. The library offers studies in comparative art and research on different techniques and themes portrayed in the artworks. The students also learned about the evolution of artworks that have had a profound impact on artistic practices in Arab countries for more than a century.

Ahlam bin Jarash, Assistant Director for Female Student Affairs at Al Qasimia University and the General Supervisor of the summer camp, emphasised the significance of this visit to the Sharjah Art Museum. It aligns with the university's objectives of exposing students to a diverse range of artworks.
