SEWA teams, immediately, started to take the necessary measures for excavations, installations and electricity connection.
Engineer Moza Al Zaabi, Director of the Kalba Department, explained that installations and electricity connection to the industrial buildings, implemented by the Department of Public Works in the new industrial zone in Kalba, will be completed within three weeks, as work teams are currently intensifying their efforts to complete excavation and installation works.
She added that SEWGA established a 33 kilovolt high-voltage station to serve the new industrial and commercial zone in Kalba, which will include more than 1000 buildings, and the Authority will start the trial operation of the new station during the month of August.
She pointed out that the connection section of the Kalba administration receives connection requests from those who completed the necessary preparations for the electricity connection, including plans, the percentage of completion, and other requirements.
