At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman and members of the Club Board of Directors extended their thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness’s great support given to the camel racing, the ancestors’ sport, and to all other heritage sports.
His Excellency Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi and members congratulated His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, on the victory of the Sharjah Football Club team in "The UAE President's Cup" championship for the tenth time in the team's history.
His Excellency Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi and members also congratulated His Excellency Hamad Rashid Mohammed bin Masoud Al Tunaiji, on the occasion of the trust placed in him by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and his appointment as Director of Al Dhaid Municipality.
The attendees, during the meeting, discussed and reviewed the topics on the agenda, and many proposals put forward by the Chairman and members to serve camel owners.
The club's reports and work plan for the coming period were also reviewed, which aims to improve the services provided to camel owners, and facilitate all procedures to participate in camel races and festivals organised by Sharjah Camel Racing Club.
