SHRD’s Waffer inks cooperation agreement with Shaza Hotels

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Human Resources Directorate’s "Waffer" programme, has concluded a cooperation agreement with the "Shaza Hotels Group", whereby the group, by joining the programme, will offer exclusive discounts and offers to Sharjah government employees and to Waffer card holders in general, as they can benefit from all the hotels that fall under the group.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council, Cahirman of the SHRD, representing the Waffer Programme, and Shaji Abu Saleh, Head of Business Development for the Group, representing Shaza Hotels, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

Under this agreement, waffer card holders are granted a 15% discount on reservations in all hotels belonging to the group. This agreement comes as an achievement of concerted efforts between the government and private sectors with the aim of providing full benefit to waffer card holders in all service and entertainment sectors.

Eng. Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi stated: We were pleased today to sign the agreement with the Shaza Hotels Group, as this comes as a continuation and embodiment of our goals in achieving job happiness for all employees of the Sharjah government and offering several options in the method of shopping and purchasing for all Waffer card holders. Through this cooperation between government and private institutions, we always strive for continuous improvement in all areas related to the employee and society in general, which is the goal that the wise leadership of the Emirate of Sharjah aspires to.”

Shaji Abu Saleh stated: “We are pleased to partner with the Government of Sharjah through cooperation with the Waffer Programme, to provide a set of benefits, services and offers to cardholders in all Shaza hotels, as our hotels are distinguished by the culture of the Silk Road and the culture of the UAE and the emirate of Sharjah in particular as the cultural capital of the region.”
