Sharjah24: Throughout the months of May and June, referees from the United Arab Emirates will oversee a number of Arab and international football tournaments and competitions.
The FIFA Referees Committee has named Ahmed Issa Darwish (a VAR referee) to the FIFA U-20 World Cup refereeing crew, which will be held in Argentina from May 20th to June 11th.
The Arab Cup will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from May 11 to 20, and UAE referee Nawaf Ahmed Hassan was selected to take part in the refereeing crew.
While Ibrahim Al-Mansouri, a member of the Football Association's Beach Soccer Referees Committee, was appointed as an assessor for the tournament referees, he was also appointed as an evaluator for the qualifiers hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 25 to 27, which qualify for the ANOC World Beach Championship "Bali 2023."
The second friendly encounter between the Saudi and Palestinian teams will take place on Thursday, June 1, at Jeddah's King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. Amal Jamal (assistant referee) will be on the referee crew, as she was on the crew for the first friendly match last Sunday.
