Sharjah Police holds first Ramadan gathering for senior inmates

32 inmates of different nationalities participated in the forum.

Brigadier General Ahmed Shuhail confirmed that the Institution is keen to enhance inmates' quality of life.

Colonel Mona Sorour Al Shuwaihi, Deputy Director of the Department, reviewed the institution's goals for 2023, which aimed to involve the inmates in developing the services provided to them regarding health care and initiatives that promote happiness and positivity.

After that, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage presented a training workshop on Arabic calligraphy skills, followed by implementing a cultural, religious, and social competition among the inmates and entertainment activities. The forum also included a storytelling part where inmates share their stories and how they ended up in prison.
