Sharjah24: Hayawa Suburb Council of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) on Saturday pulled down the curtain on the activities of the Council’s 2nd Ramadan Football Tournament For Adults. Khaled Buhandi, Chairman of Hayawa Suburb Council praised the levels of the participating teams in the Tournament, which witnesses a match between the Al Yarmouk and Al Boom teams, in which Al Yarmouk defeated Al Boom teams 3-1.
The event was attended by a number of dignitaries and a crowd of officials and residents.
During his statement to “Sharjah24”, Khaled Buhandi, Chairman of Hayawa Suburb Council lauded the tournament’s great success for the second year in a row, in terms of organisation, levels of participating teams, and high sportsmanship.
He added that one of the most important factors for the success of the tournament is the large public attendance, shedding light on the tournament’s significance in entertaining the audience and spreading joy during the month of Ramadan.
