Sharjah24: The competitions of the 2nd round of the twenty-fifth Sharjah Government Agencies' Football Championship witnessed great excitement.
The football tournament for bodies, institutions and government departments is organised by the Sharjah Government Employees Club, in cooperation with Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled and under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council, with the participation of 11 teams representing government departments and institutions in the emirate Sharjah.
The Department of Social Services team defeated Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) 2-0 in the first group competitions
The Sharjah Police General Command team defeated Sharjah Cooperative team with 6-0, within the framework of the same group competitions.
Osama Yousef Al Dokhi, a member of the Executive Committee of the Sharjah Government Employees Club and Chairman of the Media Committee, praised the technical level and the strong competition between the participating teams, stressing that such tournaments increase the bonding and communication between Sharjah government employees.
