Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honoured Hamad Al-Shaibani, Head of the Innovation Center at "ITD", in the presence of several police officers.
This honour is in appreciation of the role of the "ITD" company for virtual reality and augmented reality solutions, and its fruitful cooperation in enhancing the virtual scenario of the Punishment and Correctional Institution Department using "VR" technology.
Sharjah Police Commander-in-Chief stressed the importance of keeping pace with recent changes in line with future directions through cooperation with specialised agencies in adopting advanced technology in systems and embracing them in a sustainable manner, indicating that the use and adaptation of technologies and tools in the Fourth Industrial Revolution contribute effectively to enhancing security and the quality of life for the society.
