Sharjah 24: Al Qasimia University witnessed the graduation of about 55 male and female students from the second and third batches of the accredited professional diploma in Islamic banking, which was organised by the Sharjah Centre for Islamic Economics at the university.
Prof. Dr. Awwad Al-Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the graduates and indicated the university's keenness to diversify teaching and learning methods and develop students' skills.
Al-Khalaf stressed that the accredited professional diploma in Islamic banking is one of the distinguished diplomas that the university used to present to students with the aim of continuing the university’s vision of applying advanced methods of teaching, which coincide with its policies drawn up by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and the founder of the university, to keep up with the needs of the labor market and provide students with academic and professional knowledge in all areas, especially in the field of Islamic banking, which is one of the recent in local and regional economic markets.
