Sharjah 24: "The commemoration of Emirati Children's Day on March 15th centres around the slogan 'The Right to a Sustainable Environment,' which underscores the UAE's unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of our children at all levels according to modern-day standards," said Hanadi Al Yafei, Director of the Child Safety Department in Sharjah.
She continued: "Child safety is no longer limited to their physical health and psychological wellbeing, but also providing a sustainable environment for children to develop and grow."
"CSD remains steadfast in its mission to create extensive awareness aimed at upholding the highest levels of child safety. This commitment is fueled by the country's visionary leadership and the resolute support of official institutions and organisations across various sectors, who persevere in their mission to create a safe environment for children. These collective endeavours ensure that children are raised in a nurturing environment that promotes their well-being and growth, supported by a legal system that safeguards their rights. This is part of a comprehensive state strategy that provides children with opportunities to realise their full potential and make active contributions to the community, thereby building a brighter future for all," added Al Yafei.
