Sharjah24: Omar Al Obaidly, Director of the Visitor Services Team at Sharjah Art Foundation, stated that the fifteenth edition of its annual March Meeting was held over 4 days in the Africa Institute hall in Sharjah.
Al Obaidly stated in his statement to "Sharjah 24" that the annual March meeting was held under the title “The Postcolonial System: Art, Culture and Politics after 1960”, including a series of dialogue sessions, shows and cinematic performances for a group of artists, curators and art professionals from all over the world.
He concluded that the Sharjah Art Foundation seeks, through the March meeting, to examine the factors that contributed to shaping the parameters of art production after 1960 to the present.
