Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sharjah Entrepreneurship Foundation "Ruwad" affiliated to the Department of Economic Development in Sharjah launches the " Ambassadors of Entrepreneurship " program to train Sharjah government employees in the field of entrepreneur's guide, including a series of qualifying workshops over eight days, according to the curricula of the London School of Economics "LSE" in entrepreneurship.
The program is the first of its kind in the region to prepare government competencies specialised in entrepreneurial guidance.
The program also allows employees to obtain an accredited certificate from the LSE Generate Center for Entrepreneurship of the London School of Economics. Those trainees who pass the necessary criteria will become qualified to provide entrepreneurial mentorship in the work environment successfully and efficiently. The requirements of the program have been prepared to meet the objectives of the Government of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates.
His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of Sharjah Foundation to Support Pioneering Entrepreneurs (Ruwad) confirmed that the launch of this program, the first of its kind in the region, aims to prepare a specialised generation of Emirati government competencies in entrepreneurial guidance, instilling a culture of entrepreneurship and self-employment among Emirati employees.
The participants in the program, including 13 male and female employees from various government agencies in the emirate, expressed their pleasure at attending the first workshop of the program, allowing them to gain knowledge and experience.
