Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects (Ruwad) affiliated to the Sharjah Economic Development Department organised a workshop titled "Start from Sharjah... A New and Sustainable Beginning", with the aim of attracting and motivating entrepreneurs, talents and entrepreneurial ideas to start establishing their projects in the Emirate and launching them into regional markets.
This came on the sidelines of the Ruwad’s participation in the activities of the Sharjah Investment Forum, which witnessed a wide attendance of more than 1,600 officials, investors and businessmen. The two-day forum discussed the latest developments in the investment environment at the local and international levels.
The workshop focused on presenting a clear road map for owners of entrepreneurial ideas that enable them to transform their ideas into successful and competitive small and medium enterprises, by reviewing the project life cycle from idea to implementation through development and then expansion into foreign markets.
The organisation of the workshop comes as part of Ruwad’s efforts to motivate talents and pioneering ideas to enter the world of entrepreneurship and establish innovative small and medium projects that add value to the local economy and enhance the position of the Emirate of Sharjah as a major destination for incubating, supporting and developing the entrepreneurship sector in the UAE.
