Sharjah24: The Sharjah SME "Ruwad" concluded the 8th "Business Stars" initiative, which organised in partnership with Sharjah Education Council, in the Kashisha Park in the Rahmaniyah suburb of Sharjah.
80 students participated in the initiatives with 40 projects, 20 for each of its two phases, from 21st to 30th December.
During the initiative's duration, the eighth edition witnessed a large turnout, making more than AED114,000 in revenues within 10 days.
Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of the "Ruwad", stated that the financial grants for student projects during the eighth edition of "Business Stars" amounted to AED40,000, and the participating students demonstrated great efficiency in financial management, promotion, and marketing of their products, enabled them to achieve total revenues amounting to 114,138 dirhams for this year, raising the total revenues generated from this initiative so far to AED1,312,440.
