Sharjah24: Emirati poet Saud Rashid Sharar confirmed that the Sharjah Nabati Poetry Festival (SNPF) is a starting point and a turning point in his poetic life, highlighting the festival's significance in attracting great poets from all Arab countries.

The Emirati poet stressed that the Festival succeeded, over the last 17 editions, in enriching the local and Arab arena with many authors, research and studies, contributing in initiating a cultural movement in the Arab world.

In statements to "Sharjah 24", he underscored the variation of poems’ topics during his participation in the poetry evening, aiming to please the audience with variability of the poetry’s nature.

Concluding his statement, he thanked Al-Hirah Literary Council and the Department of Culture for the good organisation of the festival.
