Sharjah24: Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, recently met at the headquarters of Arab League in Cairo, Counselor Suad Al Saiyhi, Director of the Department of Culture in the General Secretariat of the University. The meeting included a discussion of the ongoing preparations to celebrate the new session of the "Arab Cultural Heritage Revival Day", which is organised by the university in cooperation with the institute, on the 26th and 27th of February in Cairo.
Al Musallam praised the efforts of the Department of Culture of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in strengthening cultural ties between Arab countries and coordinating its plans at the cultural, knowledge, and heritage levels, praising the close qualitative partnership between the institute and the League, which resulted in several initiatives and ambitious projects to preserve heritage. The meeting axes included discussing the areas of support and sponsorship provided by the institute for the event.
During the meeting, the two parties also discussed the proposed list of invitees to the event by addressing a unified letter from the two parties regarding the attendance and participation of institutions and individuals, noting that the institute completed the issuance of a booklet for the Arab Cultural Heritage Revival Day.
