Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Services Department organised a field trip for a group of people with disabilities affiliated with the department to its headquarters and branches.
The trip is part of the department’s training programme, which is held with the help of several entities, giving a day to live a work experience for the group aged between 13-18.
Alia Al Zaabi, Director of the Social Aid Department, stated that the programme offers a decent life for the disabled and their families.The programme was launched on December 24, 2022, and will continue until January 25, followed by subsequent stages.
She added that these programmes aim to focus on several groups of society, such as people with disabilities, to work on integrating them with the community and involving them in several programmes and events.
