The discussion highlighted the importance of the complementary relationship between the media and institutions working in the heritage field, the role of these institutions in reaching the intended goals, and the notion of spreading a culture of interest in heritage among all segments of society in terms of knowledge and culture.
It came up with proposals and ideas that help develop heritage media and find innovative programmes that address the stereotypical or traditional case of some media institutional efforts related to heritage.
At the end of the session, the speakers called for expanding the holding of such panels aimed at discussing mechanisms for enhancing interest in heritage in the media and creating an interactive and fruitful relationship between heritage and media institutions.
